Re: Who shoots 3d?
3D shoots ignited my passion for bow hunting. The first time I went to one, I was hooked. Hands down better than golf 90% of the time!

All in all good day on the course little rusty but I think it's knocked off pin wheeling the last two targets at 50 and 45 yards

Re: Who shoots 3d?
Iused to shoot a lot of 3D. I mean a lot. There are at least 20 clubs within 35 miles of my house and it used to be there were several shoots every weekend. I traveled with a few friends and we would hit up a shoot usually on Saturday morning. The we'd do one on Sundays morning and dig out our list to see where to shoot another in the afternoon.
Man did we ever have fun. Not bragging, but I was always top-dog within my group. Got to be the ebutt of a joke, but I let them set the rotation. They almost always said the guy to score highest on any given target would be the first to shoot the next one. It was their way of using my arrow for something to aim at as I led off about 80% of the time. Normally I would win the shoots because while they were trying to keep up with me (pressure) I just always relaxed and shot my game. It's not that they were bad shooters; just that they were bowhunters and I was a more disciplined target shooter.
As time went on a couple guys died on me. Then another quit shooting altogether. I've been through several groups of guys, mostly in my age group. Friends for life, but they've all quit shooting or lost interest in 3D. Maybe I should have let them win more often, LOL. Don't see most of them much anymore. They still have a hard time understanding how I still like to shoot while some of them now use crossbows. I understand and do not judge.
Anyway, due to the lack of shooting buddies I've gone by the wayside myself---finally. Part of the fun was sharing the experience. Now I still go to some Wednesday night shoots during the summer and some of the big (80 target) shoots as hunting season approaches. I might be slowing down, but I ain't dead yet.
